When you are looking for somebody to help you hear better there are a number of things you need to take into account to make sure that you start your hearing journey off on the right path.

The most important thing is that you like your hearing professional and they listen to you and don’t prioritise their own agenda. This should not be a heavy sales process or a one-sided conversation.

You can check online registers such as BSHAA (British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists) and the HCPC (The Health and Care Professions Council) to see if your hearing care professional is qualified and registered.
